We will enjoy a tasty tomato or mushroom based menu for lunch (table reservation included) before heading out to the world's first geyser hot spring that was ever noted in print...and then gave the name to all the rest! The 100ft shooting Geysir Hot Spring will take your breath away as it showers you in warm water. It is surrounded by bubbling springs which you will have the chance to explore with your guide. Next, we will visit Iceland’s most well-known waterfall, Gullfoss, with a staggering 141 tons of water flowing over its edges per minute - be prepared to get wet! From here we will head to Laugarvatn to taste the local rye-bread and see first hand where the bread is baked in the geothermal sands. We will complete our Golden Circle tour with a visit to the stunning Thingvellier National Park, the only UNESCO World Heritage site located directly on the dividing tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia.
